It might be a stretch, but I can dream that the Tortuga Motel is a nod to turtle graphics, prominent in Logo programming language. The building is also an "L" shape, so I'll just pretend that it's all on purpose. Attachments:

I left a dozer inside the building during a job. I didn't realize not only would it stay there during concrete, but I could still do earthwork after concrete placement. I guess the physics don't really lock out lower layers very well.. |
