The only good use I seen of the wheeled excavators is if you are having to move around alot and just want to be alil quicker. Other than that I dnt use them.

Even then you have to toggle the stability function. I just don't use them.

Even then you have to toggle the stability function. I just don't use them. I hate the stability function. Somehow you have to tuck the backhoe and boom truck back perfectly before you can lift the outriggers, ugh! I somewhat see sure it's safety but you can walk the excavator in any position even fully extended. On a real job you could use the backhoe bucket to move the whole vehicle or to adjust your digging angle so it's a little frustrating to have to have your vehicle perfectly level to extend your outriggers when it's called construction simulator. Hope that rant makes sense.

Against my better judgement I'm using the wheeled excavator right now at a job site. 😒 😜

I like the long bucket it has. Just not the tiny reach and "stability" function.

Hi there I'm new on this forum but I own con sim 2 and I really hate wheeled excavator for the boom stick mechanic, what I mean by that is that the movement of it is really annoying for not to be able to move all 3 boom part independently, it''s almost impossible for the user to load a dump truck, I wrote several times to the devs about changing it and always said that they think about it but in the future, and the last patch I've seen that they listened to the community and I was hoping if we can make it happen to implement the possibility to move all the boom's all they need is to add a slide bar for the boom and solve the problem.

What seems to be your issue with the wheeled excavator? I mean I don't really like that machine all that much as well, but I don't seem to have a problem using it. Can you take a screenshot or a video and show me what your issue is?
I'm going to post a video in the construction simulator wiki of this forum, I don't know if that will help clarify things maybe you can explain to me better by using the video.

Hey! I'm new to the form and would say the 394F excavator is my favorite piece of gear. It says a lot about CS2 because the handling/controls of all the excavators in CS2015 are horrible and are my least fav in that version of the game. As for the worst gear in CS2 I'd say are the compator, roller and grader. Mainly due to the fact that these slower moving vehicles seem to "lock-up" during game play in fwd or reverse every 20 seconds or so on the iPhone. But rotating the phone 180* the screen flips solves the problem.

Interesting. I play 2015 as well. But i use a game controller to help. The locking up is interesting. I'll send that up as well. Keep the posts coming. Share your screen shots on the "progress and photos" thread. Start your own thread and share what your up to. 🙂
